Academic Requirements

  • Recognises your achievements as you progress in your studies and is guaranteed for all students who qualify. Two award types: a Semester Award awarded for each semester in which you meet the criteria, and a Programme Distinction awarded at the end of your programme if you qualify for the Semester Award in all semesters. Qualify for the Semester Award by completing all 30 credits of your master’s programme curriculum that semester, achieving outstanding academic results (15 credits with the top possible grades), ensuring all course results are reported within six weeks, and maintaining good academic standing. Submit an online application Feb 1-15 (autumn results) or Jul 1-15 (spring results). Award sizes vary by programme (e.g. up to 15,000 SEK semester / 30,000 SEK distinction for Energy programmes; 5,000/10,000 for online programmes). Fee-paying master’s students only.
