Academic Requirements

  • Citizens of (or refugees granted status by) an eligible Commonwealth country permanently resident there, unable to afford UK study without the scholarship, holding by September 2026 a first degree at upper second-class (2:1) level or a lower-second (2:2) plus a relevant postgraduate qualification, meeting Chester's postgraduate English-language criteria, and who have not studied or worked for one academic year or more in a high-income country.
