Grand Valley State's International Merit Scholarship pays $2,500 and renews automatically for up to four years for first-time college students. It can be combined with the GVSU International Scholarship, which charges admitted international undergraduates on the listed visa types the in-state Michigan rate, worth about $6,700 a year and also renewable for four years. The merit award needs its own application, reviewed from October until the funds run out, and the university recommends applying by February 15. Fall admission only.
