  • Applicants from and currently residing in a developing or emerging country in Africa, Asia, the Middle East or Latin America, with a university degree and professional experience in their home country, pursuing Master's/PhD/postgraduate studies or post-doc/research stays at a German university; Catholic denomination (or another Christian denomination, especially for applicants from the Near and Middle East; applicants of other religions can be funded via Catholic partners with documented interreligious-dialogue engagement); German language skills prior to entry.
