Merit Scholarships for International Students (UMass Lowell)

Verified·Official source checked·Last verified: 31 October 2026
University of Massachusetts Lowell🇺🇸 United StatesDeadline: Deadline not published

The majority of UMass Lowell scholarship funding is in the form of new-student merit-based scholarships for international undergraduates — eligibility is determined at acceptance with no separate application, and eligible students receive a notification letter with their acceptance. Graduate international students may receive fellowship/assistantship opportunities and the International Excellence Scholarship ($1,000–$5,000). Current international students can also apply for UMass Lowell's limited endowed scholarships (academic achievement and/or financial need), about half awarded by academic departments for merit in the major, with a February 1 annual deadline.

Apply Safely:Applications are processed on the official provider website, not on Scholarships Atlas. Only apply through the official source linked above.
