Vanderbilt offers renewable need-based financial aid and merit scholarships to a limited number of international first-year applicants. Admission is need-aware for international citizens: aid applications and the amount required may factor into the admissions decision, and selection weighs academic qualities, leadership, community engagement, need, and available resources. For Fall 2026, Vanderbilt offered aid and/or merit scholarships to 89 students from 54 countries ranging $16,815–$99,998 per year for four years. Applicants must submit the CSS Profile or ISFAA; no need-based aid exists for international transfer applicants.
