The WSU International Merit Award provides a $2,000 tuition waiver per semester to degree-seeking undergraduate F-1 students at the Pullman campus who meet at least one criterion: a cumulative GPA of 3.60+ with a minimum of 12 WSU credits, unusual service to the university or community in the last two years, or other extraordinary work or achievement. Students reapply each semester (maximum four semesters); effective fall 2026 the award may be combined with the International Academic Award.
