Tsinghua University

Tsinghua is a designated host university for the Chinese Government Scholarship, the CSC-run scheme that funds most international students at China's top universities. That matters because the CSC route is not a Tsinghua application: you apply through the CSC portal in the winter before the academic year you want, list Tsinghua as a host choice, and the university and CSC assess you together. Students already studying in Beijing can also come under the municipal Beijing Government Scholarship, which covers tuition fully or partially depending on its category.

The rows below are the Tsinghua-specific records the weekly crawl has confirmed so far, headed by its Chinese Government Scholarship entry. International admissions at Tsinghua open in the autumn for the following September intake, and the university's own international students pages carry the current application notice, which is the authority on dates and documents. Award cycles move every year, so treat the deadline on a card as the current one and confirm it before applying.
