Scholarships and funding at Tulane University

Tulane funds its international undergraduates mainly through merit scholarships decided at admission, and its graduate students through departments. The long list of named awards on this page is mostly donor-funded money: endowed scholarships, foundation gifts and alumni-named funds that carry their own eligibility rules, many of them tied to a school, a field or an applicant group. The provider line on each card is what tells you whether an award is Tulane-administered or run by an outside foundation.

For graduate and professional students, funding follows the school. Tulane's schools of public health, medicine, business and law each run their own scholarship pools, and research degrees are funded through department assistantships and fellowships. International undergraduates meet a smaller set of options, mostly the merit awards attached to admission, since need-based aid at Tulane is largely reserved for domestic students.

When an award below catches your eye, read the eligibility text on its card before the description, because several endowed funds restrict who can apply. The official link leads to the Tulane or foundation page that owns the current cycle, and that is where the real deadline lives.
