Chinese Government Scholarship at Zhejiang Ocean University

China Scholarship Council / Zhejiang Ocean University🇨🇳 ChinaDeadline: Varies by programme

Zhejiang Ocean University (浙江海洋大学, ZJOU, Zhoushan, Zhejiang — a provincial key university jointly supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government) hosts the Chinese Government Scholarship (中国政府奖学金) for international students. The 2026 international admission brochure lists it as one of the two scholarships the university offers: 学校设有中国政府奖学金、浙江海洋大学奖学金. ZJOU became a Chinese Government Scholarship host institution in 2015, gained the High-Level Graduate Programme in 2022, and by 2026 had enrolled 124 CGS students in total across the Pacific Island Forum Scholarship, the China-EU credit-student programme, the China-Africa Friendship Scholarship and the China-Mongolia exchange scholarship, in marine science, fisheries, naval architecture and ocean engineering, and food science. The university administers the CGS annual review itself under the CSC's yearly notice and its own CGS annual-review rules: its 2024 review covered nine CGS master's students, all rated 合格. CGS undergraduate study is not evidenced on the pages fetched; the recorded levels are the master's and doctoral levels the university's own notices and news actually cover.
