Guangxi Minzu University (广西民族大学, GXMZU, Nanning — the university's former rendering 'Guangxi University for Nationalities' and the old gxun.edu.cn domain are no longer used) is an MoE-approved Chinese Government Scholarship host institution and recruits full-time master's and doctoral students for the CGS High-Level Graduate Programme (中国政府奖学金“高水平研究生”项目). The 2025-2026 guide states the award is a full scholarship covering tuition, accommodation, a living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance, with a three-year basic master's duration and four-year doctoral duration. Master's applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent with an excellent record and are normally no older than 35; doctoral applicants need a master's degree or equivalent with an excellent record and are normally no older than 40; Chinese-taught applicants need HSK level 4 and must also meet the university's academic and language requirements. Applications go through the CSC system with programme category B and agency number 10608, then the college's screening, the teaching unit's review, an interview or written test, pre-admission, and the school's recommendation to the China Scholarship Council. The 2025-2026 window closed on 2025-02-28, and the 2026-2027 guide has been published as attachments only, without on-page terms.
