The High-Level Graduate Programme (高水平研究生) is the Type B route UIBE documents for master's and doctoral applicants across the university's whole subject range — international relations, international development, international law, economic law, civil and commercial law, public administration, Chinese language education, international trade, finance, international business, linguistics and more, in both Chinese- and English-taught streams. The award covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses and comprehensive medical insurance, with 3,000 RMB per month for master's and 3,500 RMB for doctoral students. Applicants must be non-Chinese and physically and mentally healthy, with a bachelor's degree and under 35 for master's study or a master's degree and under 40 for doctoral study, HSK level 5 for Chinese-taught programmes or IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 86 for English-taught ones (business-administration master's applicants also need three years' work experience).
