Chinese Government Scholarship — Bilateral Program Type A (Jinzhou Medical University, 2026 guide)
Open to all fields
The Chinese Government Scholarship Type A (国别双边项目, bilateral programme) is the route UIBE documents for applicants who are nominated by their own country's dispatching authority: it is based on the education agreements China signs with foreign governments and covers bachelor's, master's, doctoral, general-scholar and senior-scholar study. UIBE restates the national award: tuition, free campus accommodation or 700/1,000 RMB per month accommodation subsidy, a living allowance of 2,500 (bachelor), 3,000 (master/general scholar) or 3,500 (doctoral/senior scholar) RMB per month and comprehensive medical insurance, with partial scholarships granting only some of those items. Age limits are 25 (bachelor), 35 (master), 40 (doctoral), 45 (general scholar) and 50 (senior scholar). Applications are made to the home-country dispatching authority — generally between early January and early April — and applicants who need a pre-admission letter send their documents to [email protected] with the subject 'UIBE+Type A/Bilateral program'. The record is built from the university's own Type A guide on sie.uibe.edu.cn.
